Importance of electronic store mapping to drive sales/profit at retail
4:35pm – 5:10pm | Tuesday October 8th
Shoppers want local assortments tailored to their needs. Sounds simple, yet where do you start when you’re operating 2300 stores? With accurate maps and store-specific planograms that enable an understanding of the item-to-store relationship. This understanding then drives the supply chain, marketing, ecommerce, promotions as well as reducing markdown liability from product churn.
In her presentation, Valerie Wilson will walk delegates through why accurate electronic store maps are the critical basis for macro and micro space optimization. They are, in effect, the DNA of the store that drive optimization and ensure the right category and item space; right adjacency and right execution.
