11:45am – 12:30pm | Wednesday October 3rd
America’s traditional eating behaviors and patterns have changed, and this new food culture has caused an era of retail disruption and diversification in meal solutions. Hormel saw this category trend coming, and conducted consumer-centric research to identify category opportunities to meet the needs of the modern consumer. Hear Melissa Muckel discuss how this research resulted in the creation of a new line of “adult snacking on the go” products. When the line was revamped and 14 new items launched, Hormel collaborated with a large retailer to optimize their category for their key customers to meet the consumer demand and drive category growth.
