Kevin Stafford joined the Food City team in 1996 when he started as a courtesy clerk. Since that time, he has served in a number of key positions, including Head Cashier, Front-End Supervisor, Helpdesk Manager and Director of Front-End Operations & e-Commerce. In 2016, he was promoted to his current position of Vice President of Marketing. As such, Kevin is responsible for overseeing advertising, creative/design, consumer research, loyalty marketing, special events, including Food City’s sports marketing endeavors and print shop activities. Stafford is a 1998 graduate of Sullivan East High School and holds both a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Milligan College.

K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc. has constructed a team of individuals who utilize Symphony RetailAI data to build a platform for personalized engagement to their customers. See first-hand how they are evaluating performance in these areas to improve and maximize personalization. Symphony RetailAI data is used in the day to day processes of evaluating high impact/short duration sales events, mailer programs and category management/assortment. The team continues to focus on key areas of building customer loyalty through email surveys, top shopper rewards, associate offers and analyzing associate purchasing. Identifying and focusing on areas of opportunity for the future has allowed K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc. to improve and increase personalized engagement to their customers.
