How supply chain processes and supplier performance are key to driving optimal inventory availability
12:10pm – 12:55pm | Wednesday October 3rd
One of the world’s top 30 largest retailers, Les Mousquetaires Group is a privately-owned retail group based in France operating seven brands – Intermarché, Netto, Bricomarché, Brico Cash, more recently Bricorama, Roady and Poivre Rouge – for the food, non-food, DIY, automotive & road service and restaurant segments. In this session Eric will discuss how in-store and online inventory availability is critical to retaining loyal customers, and how achieving this relies on ordering the right products from its suppliers, in the right quantities, at the right time, every time. Both the digital and physical workflows, are key to this success and Eric will share insights on the approach the organization takes, from measurement of supplier performance to improving both internal and external collaboration. He will also touch upon how artificial intelligence is being used to greatly improve demand forecasting accuracy.
